The actual processes took a few seconds, but the headache of entering in all kinds of personal data just to get to speak with a real person (who then asks for all sorts of other personal info) is a pain in the behind. They actually warn you that it is going to take "HOURS" to download things, and "45 minutes" on hold to speak with someone. The waiting was seconds to download and a few minutes to speak with someone. They really don't want to deal with you is my impression. They guard their 800 number: 1-800-854-3970 by making you fill out forms to find it, and then require an "incident" number to talk to someone. This is not "Customer service" it's "customer avoidance" at it's best. Their programs are great and ez to use. I wish they actually cared about fulfilling customer service. This is my first year filing taxes using TT. I downloaded it from their website and electronically filed my taxes. I did itemize for charitable contributions, but now I just have a weird feeling about filing using TT. I don't think I'll do this again. This isn't good for TT. The 888 number matches nothing on their web page and Im suspect this is some phishing scam for my important information. I downloaded all updates prior to using TT and already received my refunds. Who in there right mind wouldn't update the software the second it installs? When I installed mine 2 weeks ago the first thing it wanted to do was go out to the Internet to update which it did.
